Bio

Hello! Let me introduce myself a little more personally to you. My dogs, Havi and Mari (certified pet therapy dogs), keep me walking around the neighborhood parks. Mari has a particular passion for visiting sick children at CHOC. Havi is 16 and has grown up in the therapy room, assisting in the healing of many patients.

I keep my positive outlook by enjoying meditation and surrounding myself with encouraging friends. I've been married for 17 years now, and we maintain a habit of engaging in spiritual retreats quarterly to keep our relationship healthy, growing, and responding well to life. During family time, I like to bike, swim, boogie board, dance, and ice skate.

I enjoy giving back to my community by participating in fundraising events to better the lives of people who are less fortunate. Most recently, I participated in “Walk for Lupus” and  the “AIDS Walk”. As part of my spiritual community, I serve on a caring committee by driving folks who need assistance with transportation.

My life is dedicated to serving people.  In many capacities, I am committed to helping children and adults resolve problems, improve relationships, communication skills and  enhancing their lives. In part, this is accomplished by being a supportive presence and asking key questions to help clients gain insight. With a focus on your strengths, I will help coach, guide, and advocate for you and your best interests.

My credential is as a Marriage, Family and Child Therapist. I specialize in working with individuals, families and young people. Facilitating psychotherapy groups using art and
journaling as a mediums are among my favorite modalities. Group populations include parents, women, children, TG community, individuals with life threatening illness and the homeless.
